The Opportunity:

We are seeking an exceptional Boarding House Parent to lead one of our full boarding houses (approx. 70 pupils). This is a high-impact leadership role, central to the culture of the College, with clear succession potential to Head of Boarding.
This is the role for someone who wants to build a strong boarding community, raise standards, and shape young people’s lives, in a truly distinctive African setting.

Commencement Date: August 2026 (or earlier by agreement)

The Role:

You will lead a boarding house and:

  • Build a warm, structured, high-expectations house culture
  • Lead and manage a team of boarding staff
  • Oversee safeguarding, wellbeing and pastoral care
  • Communicate confidently and professionally with parents
  • Contribute fully to the wider life of the school (evenings/weekends)

The Person:

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in boarding
  • A qualified teacher
  • A strong pastoral leader with presence, warmth and authority
  • Calm, organised, consistent, and values-driven
  • Ready for future senior leadership
  • Experience in Learning Support, Counselling or French is an advantage.
