Valentina holds a degree in French and English Language and Linguistics at the University of Surrey in London and a post graduate in Education to become a MFL Teacher. She grew up in Switzerland, in a French speaking region where she lived until she was 14. After that, she moved to Italy, studied languages at high school and university. She taught in London for 11 years, in a successful inner city school and then moved to Zambia in August 2014, to teach French and Spanish at Trident College. She is married to Tuan and has two daughters, Fiore and Isabelle.
Wendy esteems children and is passionate about her role as matron of the younger children in the hostels. “I teach them to make their beds, respect one another, have good manners and simply have fun in the house,” she says. She highly recommends Trident College as a boarding school of choice. Wendy holds a Diploma in Hotel Management and worked at Pamodzi Hotel and ATS as a Senior Cook. She is married and has two children.
Jennifer was Trident College’s first matron, managing both the girls’ and boys’ hostels. She is now in charge of the Senior girls’ hostel. She worked as a pre-school teacher and later as a nanny for 5 years at a Day Care Centre. Jennifer holds a Diploma in Hospitality Management, with work experience as a Chef. She is a mother, friend, and shoulder to cry on. “I love children and I’ve learnt a lot interacting with different personalities,” she says. Jennifer is married and has one child.
